About Us

My name is Merrill and my main knowledge about marine bio came from this Marine Biology class.  I have lots of experience in doing technical things.  I can solder, use most power tools, wire electronics, build and cut PVC, and generally use my hands.  I am looking forward to building the ROV and getting real world experience for what marine biologists do.

My name is Marie Stahmer and the majority of my knowledge regarding the marine world has come both from this Marine Biology class and my many relatives who enjoy professional diving in an array of areas. I have experience working with a variety of power tools, cutting and building with PVC and being able to use memorization in the acknowledgement of different species.

My name is Quinn Anderson and I haven’t had any previous experience with marine biology prior to this course, although I have enjoyed the experiences I’ve had in this class. I have experience with using power tools, cutting and building PVC, and other technical skills. I am looking forward to building real world problem-solving skills, and working in an environment which is similar to what marine biology scientists work in.

My name is Emilia Boultbee I have not had any experience with marine science befor this class. I have no prior skills with ROV building but I am excited to learn and try new things and I have an easy going attitude that will help my team. I am most excited to work in a real life situation where we have to work together and overcome challenges.
